Idukki is one of the 14 districts of Kerala state. Average literacy rate of Idukki in 2011 were 91.99 compared to 88.69 of 2001. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy were 94.56 and 89.45 respectively. Idukki has many good colleges and institutes of various fields.
