Government Residential Women’s Polytechnic, Payyanur, which is the only one of its kind, was established in 1991 under the WBATEP (World Bank Assisted Technical Education Project). This institution is located at the beautiful landscape at Muthiyalam, which is only about three kilometers from Payyanur Town.Govt. Residential Women’s Polytechnic, Yavatmal was established in 1994 with a primary aim to impart Technician Education exclusively to girls. The Institute is first of its kind to offer residential facility to girls with diploma level technical education in diverse disciplines. The Institute provides quality manpower to the higher technical education system, industries and service sectors., The Institute has beautiful campus spread over 15.2 hector of land; complete with administrative, instructional building, girls hostel, trainee hostel, auditorium, recreation hall, playground and residential quarters., Apart from providing technical education the institute also offers services to various Govt. institutes and other private organizations.
