MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai invites applications for admissions to BPT & MPT for the academic year 2016- 17.

BPT & MPT admission is conducted by MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai.

Courses Offered:

Bachelors degree program in Physiotherapy (BPT)
Master degree program in Physiotherapy (MPT)

Duration & Intake:

BPT is 1 year duration & 70 students capacity
MPT is 2 year duration & 20 students capacity

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for BPT Course:
- Shall have passed an examination conducted by Boards/Councils/Intermediate Examination established by State Government/Central Government and recognized as equivalent to a two year Pre University Examination by Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Health Sciences, with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with minimum 50% marks.

- Should have passed the Common Entrance Test held by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Health Sciences, with minimum 50% marks.

- Every candidate before admission to the course shall furnish a certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer to the effect, that the candidate is physically fit to undergo Physiotherapy course.

- The “essential requirements” of cognitive, affective and psychomotor attributes necessary for completing professional education enabling each graduate to subsequently enter clinical practice and be able to evaluate, plan & execute Physiotherapy treatment independently.

Eligibility Criteria for MPT Course:
- The candidates should hold a B.P.T.or equivalent degree from an IAP recognized Institute.

- The candidates should have completed internship successfully.

- Should have passed the Common Entrance Test held by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Health Sciences, with minimum 50% marks.
