Mother Theresa Post Graduate and Research Institute of Health Sciences (MTPGRIHS), Puducherry invites applications for admissions to Diploma Courses for the academic year 2016- 17.

Diploma Courses (after Higher Secondary)
i) Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (DGNM)
ii) Diploma in Multipurpose Health Worker-Female (DMPHW-F) /ANM
iii) Diploma in Certified Radiological Assistance (DCRA)
iv) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
v) Diploma in Ayurveda Pharmacy (DAP)
vi) Diploma in Siddha Pharmacy (DSP)
vii) Diploma in Homoeopathy Pharmacy (DHP)

Certificate Course (after Higher Secondary)
i) Certificate Course in Pre-hospital Trauma Technician

Diploma & Certificate Courses offered at:
(a) Puducherry Main Campus
b) Karaikal Regional Centre
c) Mahe Regional Centre

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
- A candidate seeking admission should be an Indian National

- For Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) / Diploma in Multi-purpose Health Worker (Female) - DMPHW (F)

- H.Sc (10+2) or its equivalent passed with preferably Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Botany & Zoology) & English, with 40% aggregate marks; (or) Diploma in Multipurpose Health Worker/Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM), or H.Sc (10+2) vocational ANM with 40% aggregate marks under CBSE board or other equivalent board recognised by the Indian Nursing Council

- The Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years and maximum age 35 years, as on 31st December 2016.

- The candidate is advised to read the Information Bulletin 2016-17, before filling the application form and ensure that no column is left blank; in the event of rejection of the application form, no correspondence will be sent

- Send completed MTIHS Puducherry Diploma Courses admission application. The application fee for the Diploma and Certificate Courses (after Hr. Secondary) is Rs.500/- only (for SC/ST Candidate Rs.300/- only) in favour of "The Dean, Mother Theresa Post Graduate and Research Institute of Health Sciences, Puducherry", payable at Puducherry

Fee Details:

Application fee is Rs.500/- for General/OBC and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST Candidate.
