Kabisurya Baladeva Vigyan Mahavidyalaya Kabisurya Nagar Ganjam ,Established on 07.09.1983 in honour to the great poet of this region Sri Baladeva Rath. The Institution Completes 32 years of its life time this year .It is a growing educational Institution imparting both Junior Degree wing. Initially the College was affiliated to CHSE ,Odisha ,BBSR for +2 level in Arts, Science Commerce in the year 1984-85 .. The Degree Classes in Arts was affiliated to the Berhampur University in the year 1990-91.

The Science wing of Degree Classes was affiliated to the Berhampur University in the year 1993-94 Session, The college has been permitted to commence Honours Courses in History, Political Science, Economics in Arts wing and Physics ,Chemistry, Mathematics in Science wing from the session 1996-97.

The College is well located in the east hart of the Small city surrounded by a conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning Near about a Kilometer away from the town of kabisurya Nagar the situation of the College is congenial for a healthy academic atmosphere.

The College takes the pride of more than 1200 Students' Strength for Current Session both at +2 +3 wing. The College came into full Grant-in-Aid fold since year 1994 in +2 wing (Teaching Staff-14 Members and Non-Teaching-14 Members). The +3 wing of the College notified GIA in the year 1994 (only 04 members of the Teaching Staff) In the year Feb-2009 the College came under GIA fold in shape of Block Grant of both +2 wing (Teaching -03 and Non-Teaching -09 Staff Members) and +3 wing (Teaching - 05 and Non-Teaching -10 Staff Members).

The College came under UGC fold in the year July- 2007 with Affiliation of 2(f) & 12{8}. This College organized UGC Sponsored State & National Seminar in Economics in the year 2008 &2011 respectively . The Department of Economics has secured University Toper for the B.U. Examination 2010 . Besides teaching and learning, this College also engaged Seminars , Publication , Research work and supervising research scholars.

This year 2014-15 session the College has applied for permission +3
wing in Arts Stream increase of seats 128-192, Opening of Education Subjects 64 seats and Temporary Recognization of +3 Science increase of seats 64 to 128 and opening of Hons in Botany and Zoology Department. This College has already applied Rs.20 Lakhs for infrastructure development from the Department of Higher Education , but yet not got any information thereof

The total vacancy position against the Aided posts i.e. in +2 level History -01, Political Science -01, Chemistry- 01 & Commerce -01 since 2011- 12 Session .
