Sri Satyasai MurliDhar Ayurvedic College & Hospital (SSMD), Moga was established in 1982. Till date approx 1800 students have graduated from the college and they are doing very well in their field. The Institute is affiliated to the Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur for teaching, research and examination purposes and follows the syllabus and curriculum prescribed by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, and the statutory regulatory body for Indian Systems of Medicine in the country as adopted by the University.

Our Institution as a part of Sri Satyasai Murlidhar Yoga Cum Ayurvedic Institute Moga (Punjab) Society (Regd.) started with the grace of His Holiness of Sri Satya Sai in the year 1982 with an aim of propagating the significance and efficacy of the Ayurvedic system among the public. Students are imparted the insight of the principles of Ayurveda through highly qualified post graduate faculty and these students are the torch bearers in the spread of this “Oldest Traditional System of Medicine” throughout the country & abroad also in a very constructive approach. Many of the students have been absorbed into the state and central government services as this institution is of a high reputation. Students are assured of a sound knowledge by studying the Ayurvedic system of medicine in our Institution with the grace of Lord Dhanwantari.
