Pharmacy College, Sant Attar Singh Gurmit College, Akal seed farm were established in the year 2005,Sant Attar Singh Trust headed by member of Parliament and former union minister S.Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and the Akal College Council with president S.Balwant Singh Gill and Secreatary S.Jaswant Singh Khaira thought of importing teacher education to graduate & Post graduate in the area and started Akal College of Education within a short span of 4 years, this college has earned name in academic & cultural activities.
