Agriculture has been an integral part of India’s economy and livelihood. There are several agricultural engineering colleges that offer graduation and post-graduation degrees in agriculture along with other technical and professional courses. RNTU being one such agriculture college offers the course under the Faculty of Agriculture and undertakes various scientific research and educational activities to promote and propagate science based agricultural research and education.
The college offers labs that are perfectly equipped to meet the requirements of academic and research activities. The institute incorporates latest available technology in research, teaching, and extension activities to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of each task.
The Department of Agricultural Sciences offers a four-year Bachelor’s course in B.Sc. (Hons.) and two-year Master’s course in M.Sc. (Agriculture).
