Ans. Different stamps have different price which is written on them. There are different types of pictures on different stamps.

Ans.Yes, I have seen the stamp of the post office on these letters.

7. Reena’s letter reached Delhi by train. How do you think letters reached distant places when there were no trains?
Ans. When there were no trains pigeons were used to carry letters to their destinations. People were also used to carry letters to their destinations by hand. Horsemen were also used to carry letters.

Similarities:

• Both are used for carrying forward the messages.
• Both can be used anywhere in the world.

Differences:

• We can hear the voice of other person on phone but not in case of letter.
• Letters take some time to reach the destination. On phone, our message instantly reach to the other person.
• Phone is costlier than letters.
