I feel it is a replica of KITE in its beautiful form. It will enable the students to view the college just like a mirror image. I wish every student a bright future and a roaring career. About EEE Department
Electrical and Electronics engineering has gained rapid importance in view of ever increasing demand for power. Many public and private sector companies are looking forward to recruit Electrical Engineering graduates. The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established and molded in KITE in the year of 2007 keeping in view, the broad objectives of Technical education in general and specific needs of Power Engineers in particular. The Department has qualified & experienced faculty and adequate & well furnished laboratories to cater to the needs of the students as per the university norms & curriculum. The Dept. is responsible for Electrical maintenance of the entire Institution.

The Department has state of Art Laboratories with fully equipped latest equipment and modern technical software. The Department has rich experienced and dedicated faculty with back ground of industry and teaching. The department organizes regular seminars experts lectures from industry and institutions to mould enthusiastic students in to excellent Engineers, while exposure to the latest technologies fosters the creativity and independent thinking of students.

Welcome to the department of Electronics and Communications Engineering of Sri Sarada Institute of science and Technology. Electronics and communications engineering concepts and research are a component in almost everything we use today. It is nearly impossible to name an item around us that is in some way not impacted by Electronics and communications engineering.
At ECE, our goal is to teach students how to take practical knowledge and concepts, and apply them to solve real world problems and issues. It is expected that students who conscientiously apply themselves and successfully complete the engineering programs will not only be technically trained, but also humanistically and socially educated, and thereby be well prepared to make a significant contribution to the world in which they work. We offer an innovative, project-based undergraduate program with opportunities for off-campus projects.

ECE prides itself on its faculty-student interactions with a goal of creating exceptional students who will go out into the world equipped with the tools needed to be extraordinary engineers. Faculty are readily available to students in the department for coursework, laboratory questions, and academic and project advising. There is a team atmosphere in ECE devoted to outstanding research and education, mentoring students, and maintaining a nurturing environment. Latest teaching and learning techniques are adopted to train ECE students at SSIST.

About ECE Department
Electronics and Communications Engineering remains one of the top-ranked engineering programs in the world. Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE) has evolved into an exciting high technology discipline that has transformed many aspects of our daily life and will continue to shape our information-based society. A strong foundation in ECE core Subjects like VLSI Design, analog and digital communication, etc will open up a wide span of career opportunities including engineering and high-tech industries, finance and management, and teaching and research at universities worldwide. ECE is about electronic components, integrated circuits and microprocessors and consists of design, fabricate, test, maintain and supervise the manufacture of electronic equipment. This branch Of Engineering has a key place in the field of computers, Information Technology, Electrical, power system operations, communication systems etc. The Department has sufficient number of qualified and experienced staff members. It has sufficient space and equipment as per norms, There are 11 laboratories in the Department. Viz.

Bachelor of Technology (BTech Computer Science Engineering)

The department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2007.The department aims at technical and professional competency and also aids in inculcating moral and ethical values. The alacrity of the students to learn makes it easier for the department of computer science and engineering to produce top-notch engineers who are being recruited by companies all over the world.

Mission:
The mission of the department is to create a centre of excellence for budding professionals so as to equip them with strong fundamental concepts, programming and problem solving skills with an exposure to emerging technologies by providing hands-on experience; Also to inculcate in them values, and Leadership qualities with a zeal to Serve Society and to Bridge the Digital Divide.

Department Objectives
Excel in all aspects of academic research and produce a high quality science based professionals and enhance their general skills in logical and analytical understanding.
To provide the students with ability to perform analysis , specification, design and implementation of quality computer solutions
To provide opportunities to gain practical experience in computer technologies , using the latest and modern software and hardware.
To instill within the students the technical, communicative and character skills that will prepare them not just for technical roles but for leadership roles as well
To assist the students in their career placements by setting up multiple on campus placements.

About HOD
The department is headed by an experienced Associate Professor, with 7 years of teaching experience. She served the organization and strived to accomplish the cherished goals of the organization.

Students And faculty:
The department has around 450 students and about 28 erudite staff who teach how to think rather what to think. The students are not only trained in academic excellence but are also encouraged to acquire industry exposure through in-plant training sessions to be in the vanguard of pioneering dexterity .The learning atmosphere being more practical oriented makes the transition from an educational institution to an industry effortless. The department conducts colloquiums where the students have the chance to hear from and interact with famous individuals who have excelled in the field of computer science and technology .Our illustrious and recognized faculty members, a brilliant student community, exceptional technical & supporting staff and proficient management have all added to status of the department.

Industrial connection
The CSE Department works closely with several related industries of repute. These relationships facilitate joint research, funded projects, and the opportunity to learn the latest technologies. Experts from industries and leading institutions are invited every fortnight for technical lectures under the association activities. The department Corporate Advisory Board includes senior executives from various companies.. Students are sent on industrial visits to companies and they also undergo in-plant training at industries.
