Ghanshyam Binani institute of management studies fulfils this gap by creating a fresh awakening for the fulfillment of the aspirations and ambitions of the youths and their guardians. The whole city and its vicinity throb with new zeal & enthusiasm as a new horizon of learning has been opened for complete evolution. The institute has been established under the aegis G.D. Binani Education Society, Mirzapur, which runs a number of educational institutions in various cities. The Management Institute stands at the Binani Chowk, Bharuhana, in a separate wing, specially designed, of the imposing building of the prestigious G. D. Binani post Graduate College, Mirzapur. The institute has its own land spread over a vast area of 6.5 acres and have ambitious plan for a well designed building & hostel with modern amenities and facilities. Smt. Padma Binani has laid down the foundation stone of the building on February 28, 1999 and the building is expected to come up by Dec. 1999., At present, the institute offers two-year full time Post Graduate course in management, to award Master of business Administration (MBA) degree. It has a plan to organize Executive Development Programmes in various areas of Management, useful for the senior Executives & Managers of different levels, shortly. It has an ambitious plan to start the following programmes:, The MBA programmes has a present intake of sixty students a year, of which 85% of seats are for normal and self-supporting and 15% for NRI/NRI sponsored candidates. Normal and self-supporting candidates are admitted on the basis of a written test conducted by UPMCAT at the various prescribed test centers, followed by group Discussion, interview and counseling. NRI/NRI sponsored candidates are admitted on the basis of Group Discussion, followed by an interview by the institute itself. Graduates in any discipline equivalent recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, with minimum 45% of marks in the aggregate or as advertised by the authority conducting UPMCAT, are eligible for written test/ group Discussion/ interview.
