Harishchandrapur College was established in 2008 to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the people of Harishchandrapur and the surrounding areas and to meet their long voiced demand for higher studies. Affiliated to the University of Gour Banga, this govt. aided college started its journey on 18th August, 2008 in Pipla High School where classes were taken in the morning. A small building of its own was set up within the two years of its genesis in a calm and quiet natural ambience beside Harishchnadrapur Chanchal Highway NH 81.
