INI CET Cutoff and Qualifying Percentile
INI CET qualification is based on the percentile and category/course rules published by AIIMS, not on one universal raw-mark cutoff. Earlier prospectuses have used 50th percentile for Unreserved, EWS, sponsored and foreign-national/OCI candidates, and 45th percentile for OBC, SC, ST, PwBD and specified Bhutanese candidates. Confirm the exact January 2027 prospectus language and any programme-specific provisions before relying on these historical thresholds.
What affects admission cutoffs
- Candidate performance, percentile and rank in the relevant session.
- Category, reservation, sponsorship and course eligibility rules.
- Institute, specialty/programme and seat availability in the current seat matrix.
- Choice filling, counselling round, withdrawals and seat acceptance.
- Any official revision, tie-breaking or additional qualifying requirements.
How to compare category-wise trends
Compare the same course, institute, category, session and counselling round using official merit lists and seat-allocation notices. Minimum qualifying percentile only permits consideration under the rules; it is not a predicted closing rank or assurance of a seat. The official prospectus, result and counselling notices determine current-cycle criteria.
