NMAT results and score reports are accessed through the official GMAC candidate account. Score availability and reporting schedules depend on the current testing cycle; GMAC's portal is the source for the release of an individual result.

How to access the score report

1. Visit the official NMAT page and sign in to the candidate account.
2. Open the result/score-report section for the relevant appointment.
3. Download and save the report, then check the candidate details, section scores, total score and any other fields shown.
4. Use the portal's official score-reporting controls to send results to participating schools as permitted.
5. Contact GMAC support promptly if the report is unavailable or contains a discrepancy.

Qualification and admissions categories

NMAT does not create one universal pass/fail category for all schools. Each participating institution establishes its own overall and sectional score requirements, shortlist rules and later selection stages. A score that meets one programme's threshold may not meet another's. NMIMS and other schools may use interviews, written assessments, academic records, work experience or additional eligibility checks.

Score validity

Score validity and the admission cycle in which a score can be used are set by GMAC and the receiving school. Confirm validity with both before applying; do not assume a score from an earlier test year is accepted for a later intake. Keep a copy of the official score report and verify that the selected schools received it.
