UCEED 2027 Result & Scorecard: Check Merit List & Ranks
The UCEED 2027 Result is declared by IIT Bombay in the first half of March 2027 on the official website (uceed.iitb.ac.in). Candidates can log in using their credentials to view their qualification status, Part-A marks, Part-B marks, total combined score, and Category / All India Ranks (AIR).
UCEED Scorecard Availability & Validity
All qualified candidates can download their official UCEED Scorecard from the Candidate Portal between mid-March 2027 and July 31, 2027. The scorecard is a permanent record required during B.Des counseling and seat allocation. Note that the UCEED scorecard is valid strictly for one academic year (2027–2028).
How UCEED Merit Ranks Are Calculated
The ranking mechanism in UCEED follows a two-tier evaluation framework:
- Part-A Screening Cutoff: Candidates must score above the Part-A minimum qualifying benchmark (determined statistically as $\mu + (\sigma/2)$ for OPEN, $\mu + (\sigma/4)$ for OBC-NCL/EWS, and $\mu/2$ for SC/ST/PwD, where $\mu$ is the mean and $\sigma$ is the standard deviation).
- Part-B Evaluation: Part-B booklets of only the candidates clearing the Part-A cutoff are evaluated.
- Final Total Score: Total Marks = Part-A Marks (out of 200) + Part-B Marks (out of 100) = Total 300 Marks.
- Merit Ranking: All qualified candidates receive an All India Rank (AIR) and Category Rank based on their total composite score.
UCEED Tie-Breaking Protocol
If two or more candidates obtain identical total composite scores in UCEED, tie-breaking is resolved using the following order:
- Higher marks obtained in Part-B receives the higher rank.
- If the tie persists, higher marks obtained in Part-A Section 1 (NAT) receives the higher rank.
- If the tie still persists, higher marks obtained in Part-A Section 2 (MSQ) receives the higher rank.
- If the tie remains unresolved, candidates will be assigned the same rank.
B.Des Joint Seat Allocation Counseling
