The college was established in the year 1967 as an affiliated college.In the year 1980, it became a constituent unit of B.R.A.Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. It is imparting teaching upto Hons level in both Science and Arts faculties.Besides traditional subjects teaching vocational course like B.C.A. and Tour and Treval Management is also taught in this college. The College has entered a good name in the society and the academic atmophare including discipline said to be satisfactory.
