Answer.
The farmer told Goopu to see the world because he had become old and could’t carry load anywhere.

Why did Goopu, Doopu and Furry want to go to Mumbai?
गूपू, ड्रपू तथा फरी मुंबई क्यों जाना चाहते थे?

Goopu, Doopu and Furry wanted to go to Mumbai to become musicians.

The donkey saw a bali of fur and it was a cat. If you were to see a big ball of fur what could that be?

Question 1.
Write any nine words from the given list in the boxes. Put only one word in one box.
नीचे दिए गए शब्दों में से नौ शब्दों को निकालकर भरो। एक बॉक्स में केवल एक ही शब्द भरो।

In what way are these musical instruments different from each other? Put them into three groups based on how they are played.
नीचे दिए गए बाजे किस प्रकार से एक-दूसरे से भिन्न हैं? उनको बजाने के तरीकों के आधार पर उन्हें तीन भागों में बाँटो।
(i) This is the picture of a musical instrument called a Jaltarang.
यह जलतरंग नामक एक बाजे का चित्र है। अब तुम एक अपना जलतरंग बनाओ।
Make your own Jaltarang :
(ii)Get six to ten bowls of the same size and shape.
(iii) Pour water into the bowls. Keep the water at different levels.
(iv) Use two pencils and strike the rim of the bowls to make musical sounds.

The word “jaltarang’ is made up of two words Jal-water, tarangmusic. Now make new words by joining two words. One has been done for you. ‘जलतरंग शब्द’ दो शब्दों-जल (पानी) तथा तरंग (संगीत)-के मेल से बना है। अब दो शब्दों को जोड़कर एक शब्द बनाओ। उदाहरण के लिए एक शब्द बना दिया गया है।
