GMAT Question Papers, Official Practice & Exam Pattern
GMAC controls the live GMAT question bank. Start preparation with official sample questions and practice exams linked from mba.com. A recalled question or coaching-centre compilation is not an official GMAT paper and may not match the current adaptive exam.
Why practise with sample questions?
- Learn the current computer interface and the question types in all three sections.
- Build pacing and decision-making skills for timed, adaptive sections.
- Identify whether errors come from concept gaps, interpretation or time pressure.
- Review explanations and practise changing answers only within the current exam's allowed review rules.
Current paper pattern
The current published structure is 64 questions in 2 hours 15 minutes, divided into Quantitative Reasoning (21 questions, 45 minutes), Verbal Reasoning (23 questions, 45 minutes) and Data Insights (20 questions, 45 minutes). One optional 10-minute break is available. Questions are computer-adaptive and the score is scaled; do not assume a fixed raw-mark scheme.
Finding official practice and archive resources
- Open GMAC's GMAT exam page and follow its official preparation links.
- Use the official GMAT practice products or sample questions available for your account and current format.
- Check publication date, format and source when using any third-party archive; older papers may reflect the discontinued format.
- Do not seek, reproduce or distribute secure live-test questions. Analyse practice-test explanations and track recurring errors instead.
